Rollin Adventures in Bali began because we couldn’t find the kind of information we actually needed.
Not glossy travel guides.
Not “accessible” labels with no real explanation.
Not inspirational stories that leave out the hard parts.
We’re a family navigating life and travel with disability — and we share what we learn so other families don’t have to figure it out alone.
Our daughter, Morgan, is autistic, has cerebral palsy, epilepsy and vision impairment, and uses a wheelchair for mobility.
Travelling — especially to a place like Bali — brings beauty, connection and possibility.
It also brings very real challenges.
This space exists for the in-between.
The quiet moments.
The planning that nobody sees.
The emotional decisions.
The small wins that matter far more than they look online.
Rollin Adventures in Bali is built on lived experience.
Everything we share comes from being there, asking the questions, making mistakes, adapting plans, and learning what actually works — and what doesn’t.
We don’t promise perfect trips.
We don’t pretend accessibility is simple.
We don’t speak for every family.
We share what is true for us.
Our hope is that this site becomes a calm, honest resource for:
- families travelling with a wheelchair user
- parents of autistic children
- carers navigating epilepsy and medical needs
- travellers with vision impairment
- and anyone who simply wants to understand what accessibility in Bali really looks like
This isn’t the loud part of our story.
It’s the honest part.
